The social issue my book best represents is crime. The novel is about how a journalist named Mikael Blomkivist is given a task by a man named Henrik Vangar. The Vangar family is very wealthy and has alot of in-just in their history. Henriks job for Blomkivist is to uncover the mystery of Henrik's grand-daughter who disappeared during an annual family dinner. His reward is millions of kronar and payback against a man named Wennerström(who recently screwed over Blomkivist by setting up a scam to ruin Blomkivist's newspaper credibility). As the book goes on we find out that Wennerström has been stealing information from Blomkivist's magazine and publishing it in his magazine as well as stealing money from different co-operations. Without crime in this story I think the whole plot would be ruined. It is based about trying to find dirt on Wennerstrom and without it, the book would be lacking many main parts that makes it a page-turner.
