Media Source- Poster

....To me this poster represents two sides of the same person, one side is worrying about all the troubles they have about themselves and the second side represents the things they wish they could do to help themselves escape the 'troubled' side but unfortunately is having a little bit of trouble accomplishing it....
The quote by Dorothy Rowe in my opinion represents this poster the best:
"Depression is a prison where you are both the suffering prisoner and the cruel jailer."

The person is showing two sides of them, the troubled side which is the 'suffering prisoner' and the side that wants to help but can't, the 'cruel jailer'. All the words are the thoughts the person is thinking. They are separated because they have trouble coming together to resolve the issue of depression, as long as they are apart they will never be able to conquer the battle of depression.
Just like in the Short story by James, if they keeps blaming them self and trapping those sad, depressing feelings inside, they will never conquer self-harming.
