.....Now that I got to know my topic"depression' a little better I can answer some of the questions. When it comes to the cause of depression I still don't believe their is a certain way depression is caused, on some level I do agree which Dorothy Rowe and her assumption on how people get depression. I believe I was able to relate all my sources to one another which also helped me better come to a conclusion about my questions about depression. If we didn't have depression are world would be a 'happier' place but unfortunately that's never going to happen. I'm glad we do have psychologists and councillors and types of media such as posters, songs, ads that do help people get through as well as help aware people with depression. Overall Through this process of linking sources back to one another I have become more aware about this topic and I'm glad I did it....

I am taking a chance that you are maybe going to check your blog while you are away - since you will not be in on Friday to pick up your marks....You did a very nice job of presenting depression as a theme through the selections you have presented here Destinie. You have used the texts well to describe what the overall impact of depression is and the potential causes. I like how you have referenced many texts throughout the variety of your responses. Make sure that you reference works that your reader has already read though (rather than referencing texts that will still come - you did this with the short fiction piece by James Stewart). Overall though you have put some good thought and effort into the creation of this tapestry - well done. Have a GREAT summer!
